It was in 1960 that the family business was born. Patrick Morin and his wife Denise Benny started with the acquisition of two sawmills and a small hardware store in the municipality of Sainte-Marcelline-de-Kildare in Lanaudière. Over the years that followed, the small "lumber yard" of Sainte-Marcelline turned into a real renovation center and the "MORIN" expertise quickly became very popular in the whole region. Between 1975 and 1983, the company grew rapidly and even more in recent years. Seven of the couple's nine children joined their efforts with those of Patrick Morin and several new branches opened their doors. It is with the involvement of this second generation of Morin, and now the third, that the company truly became the one that it is now. Today, Patrick Morin operates more than 20 branches, all of which aim to offer Quebecers nothing less than the best in construction and renovation.
